The research at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is a collaborative effort between the U.S. Geological Survey Fort Collins Science Center and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Furthermore, the research is being coordinated within the Marbled Godwit Working Group, comprising scientists from the USGS, FWS, and other entities, including the Canadian Wildlife Service, the University of Montana, and Pronatura in Mexico.
