The National Park Service Water Resources Division requires maps displaying various watershed features for use in litigation over water rights and resource protection at sites in Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. To this end, FORT GIS staff are acquiring or digitizing GIS data themes related to water rights in these states and developing publication-quality map graphics for use during litigation proceedings. Map products are developed using ArcGIS, printed in color but usable for copying in black-and-white without loss of information, and compatible for use in PowerPoint presentations.
