Travel and Lodging

We highly recommend these two lodging options.  Each has a block of rooms under USGS - Negotiation for our participants.  And they offer the federal per diem rate of $93.00 per night.

  1. The Armstrong Hotelat 259 S College Ave is located in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins.  This newly renovated 1923 Landmark Historic Hotel is an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. It is located within two miles of the Fort Collins Science Center.   2. The Hilton Fort Collinsat 425 West Prospect Road provides guests with free transportation between the hotel and our facility by request. The Fort Collins Science Center is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk of a few blocks from the Hilton.  The airport shuttle will take you directly to the Hilton. So if you are without a car this is a good choice. Please contact the Hilton Fort Collins at (970) 482-2626 to make your reservation. A breakfast buffet is included with this accommodation. Getting to FORT

The airport shuttle, Super Shuttle at (970) 482-0505 can take you directly from Denver International Airport (DIA) to the Hilton Fort Collins for a fare of $32 one-way. You can make a reservation by phone or on the internet at http://www.rideshamrock.com. The shuttle trip takes about two hours. If you decide to rent a car, it will take 1–1½ hours to commute from DIA to the Hilton Fort Collins. The E-470 Toll-road costs are $5.00 each way (see map at link below).

The Negotiation Training Courses will be held at the Fort Collins Science Center, 2150 Centre Avenue, Building C, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526. The entrance is on the south side of the building.

Time

The course will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. on days one and two, and ends at noon on day three. The building opens at 7:45 a.m.
