Registration

Payment for the Negotiation Training Courses is handled though DOI Learn. Registration and payment through DOI Learn are required for Department of the Interior employees. Non-Interior employees follow the same procedure, but register through the Public Catalog Login. Please visit http://doilearn.doi.gov/ and enter the specific course name to proceed with registration. If registration is problematic, please contact Earlene Swann at swanne@usgs.gov.

Prices for the courses are as follows:

• Negotiation Skills for Natural Resource Professionals: Building a Foundation: $650
• Strategies and Tactics for the Experienced Natural Resource Negotiator: $750
• Off-site Negotiation Training: Tuition cost as shown above plus $100 per person

Doors open at 7:45 a.m. and the course begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Both courses are held in the Training Room at the Fort Collins Science Center (FORT), 2150 Centre Avenue, Building C, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526.

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend, please notify us one month before the beginning of the course to avoid paying a cancellation fee of $75.

Additional Requirement: We ask that each participant submit a negotiation description upon registration. This information will be used in course materials.

Negotiation Description: Briefly describe a negotiation that you have been involved with or that is up-coming. The instructors find this information valuable for course planning and especially useful as reference points during the course. Examples of descriptions can be provided upon request.
