CloseTest is a Windows program for testing capture-recapture data for closure, where closure means no individuals were added to or lost from the population of interest over the sampling period. Test statistics are computed using the closure test presented in Stanley, T.R., and K.P. Burnham. 1999. A closure test for time-specific capture-recapture data. Environmental and Ecological Statistics 6: 197-209.
For additional information on how to use the program and its results, please see Stanley, T.R., and J.D. Richards. 2005. Software review: a program for testing capture-recapture data for closure. Wildlife Society Bulletin 33(2): 782-785.
