Abstract

Objectives of study included: documenting the occurrence of 90% of the mammals expected to occur within the park units; describing distribution and abundance of species of special concern; and providing baseline information necessary for the development of a monitoring strategy. Traplines, mistnetting, acoustic surveys, and track and scat surveys were used to verify species occurrence. Vouchers were obtained for species previously undocumented in a park. Report includes GIS coverages of sampling sites and species detection locations, photos, and extensive data files.
