USGS Science Center Dedication and Open House

 

The USGS Fort Collins Science Center (FORT), formerly the Midcontinent Ecological Science Center, is hosting a new building dedication and open house for partners, clients, academics and others on August 23 on the Natural Resources Research Center (NRRC) campus in Fort Collins, CO. Featured speakers include Senator Wayne Allard (CO), USGS Director Chip Groat, USGS Regional Director Tom Casadevall, Colorado State University President Albert Yates, and others. Building tours and over 50 exhibits will feature the science work and capabilities of FORT, the USGS Central Region, and partners and collaborators. The NRRC is a partnership of six federal agencies from the Departments of Agriculture and the Interior, the U.S. General Services Administration, and Colorado State University established to support and enhance cooperative research on natural resources issues.
