USGS to Host Brown Treesnake Conference in Guam

 

USGS scientists Gordon Rodda and Kathy Dean-Bradley, along with the USDA Wildlife Services and USGS Pacific Islands Ecosystems Research Center, have organized the Brown Treesnake Research and Management Conference to be held at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, August 6-10. The conference will bring together scientists and managers from academics, government, and local agencies who are involved in researching and controlling brown treesnakes. Scientists will have the opportunity to share recent research and control strategies. Focus and discussion groups will enable participants to strategize and plan for future control and research activities.
