FORT research ecologist Jill Baron will be presenting an invited paper, "Acidification and Eutrophication of Temperate North American and European Ecosystems from Atmospheric Deposition," at the International Scientific Congress on Climate Change in Copenhagen, Denmark, March 10-12. This congress is focused on identifying the big-picture science issues important to policymakers as they formulate societal responses (adaptation and mitigation) to climate change. Dr. Baron will present on this topic again April 20-23 at the 41st Annual Air Pollution Workshop and Symposium in Fort Collins, Colo. The workshop, hosted by the U.S. Forest Service and National Park Service, addresses current research topics and issues pertaining to air pollution effects on agricultural crops, forests, and natural ecosystems.
