Workshop Themes:
1. Conceptual frameworks and theories of Institutional Analysis. Eight papers were presented in this category. Presenters are from Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Australia, and the USA.
2. Methodological Problems and Solutions in Institutional Analysis. Three papers were presented in this category. These papers focus on tying theory to practice and will be presented by scholars from the USA and South Africa.
3. Applications of Institutional Analysis Techniques. Fifteen papers were presented in this category by scholars representing the United Kingdom, Nepal, Mexico, Sweden, Finland, Australia, and the USA.
A total of 25 papers were presented, along with a keynote address from Jeanne N. Clarke ( University of Arizona).

Papers presented at the workshop were collected in a loose-leaf compilation for attendees. Copies of this document are not available from the sponsors.
The Steering Committee also selected papers for inclusion in two special journal symposia. A symposium was published in the on-line journal Sustainability: Science, Policy, and Practice. Those articles can be found at:

Eight manuscripts were selected for International Journal of Public Administration ( IJOPA). The manuscripts were peer reviewed and revised, and the symposium has been submitted to the IJOPA. Publication in the IJOPA is expected in 2008.
